The former 'Full House' star was arrested in California for DUI in June.
“Full House” star John Stamos has entered rehab for substance abuse, People has confirmed.
The 51-year-old star, who has recently been instrumental in bringing to life a follow-up to his beloved sitcom, “Full House,” was recently charged with a DUI. He was pulled over in Beverly Hills on June 12 after police saw him driving erratically and found him intoxicated. He was due in court for the citation in September.
He thanked fans for their support on Twitter following the citation.
Now, People reports, he has checked himself into a residential facility for treatment. Earlier Friday (July 10), Variety reported that Stamos had pulled out of co-hosting the Emmy nomination announcements alongside Uzo Aduba on July 16. Cat Deeley stepped in to replace him.
