 Popular Rapper, The Game, who was supposed to kick off his Australian leg of the Documentary 2 tour on Sunday February 21 has been forced to cancel his Australian appearance after being stopped by border security for holding the incorrect visa.
According to TMZ the 36-year-old was ordered to leave the country last Friday after touching down from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Lil Wayne Sued By His Lawyers

The Young Money rapper is now being sued by his own lawyers who claim he owes them hundreds of thousands in unpaid bills.

According to TMZ, Wayne hired a law firm to help him collect millions in his lawsuit against Cash Money and Birdman. The lawyers say they tried to get their bills paid for nearly a year, but were ignored by Weezy.

His legal team is seeking $375,000 in unpaid invoices.

It’s an ironic situation considering Wayne sued Birdman in January for $51 million and his release from Cash Money Records. He claims Birdman violated the terms of their deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his oft-delayed album Tha Carter V.

This is the latest legal drama for Wayne whose Miami mansion was raided in November. Property was seized as part of a $2 million judgement from jet leasing company Signature Group, who claims he missed payments for two years.

Nicki Minaj ignored the human rights groups asking her to cancel her performance in Angola and stepped on stage Saturday to thrill the audience. She was under fire for performing at an event hosted by a firm that’s partially owned by Angolan President Eduardo dos Santos who has been who’s called a harsh dictator by many. In 2013 it was reported Mariah Carey got paid about $1 million for a gig for the same president.

Lil Wayne Owes a Local Company a Quarter Million Dollars in Unpaid Bills, According to Lawsuit

In the hip-hop label fiefdoms, Young Money tops the list of players, the home of Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and a truck-load of other Top 40 radio regulars. So you would figure the imprint wouldn't have too much trouble paying their bills. Not so, claims a lawsuit filed recently in Cuyahoga County Court against the label's touring arm.

A local company claims that they provided sound and tech help for Lil Wayne's US and European tour swings in 2013. The rap star's people have yet to pay the company, and the outstanding dues are almost for a quarter of a million dollars. No chump change here.

Per the lawsuit, in June 2013 and October 2013, Eighth Day Sound Systems, Inc., inked contracts with Young Money Touring.

According to the itemized invoices included in the filings, the company provided the tour with sound equipment, personnel, audio technicians, and all the other bells and whistles needed for a successful concert-going experience.

Young Money Touring, however, never settled up for the full among they owed, according to the lawsuit. In the end, the label owes Eighth Day $232,209.50.

This morning, we rang up the company to talk about the suit. "We wouldn't comment on that," a gentleman on the other end of the phone said before ringing off. The defendants have yet to answer to the complaint in court. We're still trying to get in touch with a Young Money publicist for comment. If we do, we'll update.

Paris attacks: Photos capture fatal rock concert

Music photographer Emmanuel Wino has shared his pictures of the Eagles of Death Metal concert which came under attack at the Bataclan theatre in Paris on 13 November.

Gunmen entered and killed 89 people, critically injuring more than 100.

Mr Wino says that before the attack, the theatre was full of smiles that should not be forgotten.

As a result, he decided to share pictures of the Eagles of Death Metal on hisFacebook page.

Wino was among seven or eight photographers taking pictures of the concert.

In an interview with France's Les Inrocks (in French) magazine, Wino said he had come down from the first floor to the theatre bar to join friends, adjacent to the emergency exit.

He said he had heard screams, followed by a stampede of people running for the exits.

"People wet it was a shooting, but not a terrorist act. "I thought it was the act of a madman," he told the magazinere screaming for us to leave, to run away," he said. "Then I heard the shots. Twenty, thirty, fifty - I do not know."

Dr. Dre to Release ‘Straight Outta Compton’ OST Featuring Brand-New Music

Ice Cube has spilled details about Dr. Dre’s original soundtrack for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton. Speaking to Philadelphia’s Power 99, Cube said that the OST will drop on August 1, and will contain new music from Dre and N.W.A., and he hinted that it will feature songs from Eminem and fellow Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar, though that has not been confirmed.“It’s mega, it’s Dr. Dre, it’s what everybody’s been waiting for,” Ice Cube explained. “It’s definitely a dope record, and he’s dropping it all on the same day.” Watch the interview here.

Birdman Denies Conspiring to Kill Lil Wayne

After a recent indictment suggested that Birdman and Young Thug conspired to have Lil Wayne murdered in a drive-by shooting, the former is now denying any involvement. Court documents alleged that Birdman received a call shortly after the shooting (possibly from the shooter, Jimmy Winfrey) implicating him in the attempted murder. 

Sources tell TMZ that while the phone call did occur, Birdman "was not involved in any way."

They say both phones involved in the call were registered to Birdman because they were company phones, and that the caller was actually "someone in Wayne's camp who was understandably pissed" and wanted to relay the message to Birdman about the shooting. (Despite an ongoing legal battle, Lil Wayne is still signed to Birdman's Cash Money Records.) 

Birdman has not been charged for the shooting.

Will Smith and Jay Z Are Making an Emmett Till Mini-series for HBO

On the heels of their collaboration last year for the musical Annie, Jay Z and Will Smith are teaming up once again: They've signed on to executive-produce a mini-series about Emmett Till for HBO.

In 1955, 14-year-old Till was lynched by a white mob in Mississippi in what's known as one of America's most brutal hate crimes. His mother famously had an open-casket funeral for her son so that newspapers would print photos of the gruesome nature of Till's attack.

Till's killers were acquitted but later confessed to murdering the teen. Smith and Jay Z, along with Jay Brown, James Lassiter, and Aaron Kaplan, will bring "an immersive and in depth exploration" of Till's story to HBO for what's expected to be a six-hour series.

So far the mini-series is untitled and has no writers onboard. Also in the works are two competing Emmett Till movies: one spearheaded by Roger Ebert's widow, Chaz; and another based on the playThe Face of Emmett Till.

MANILA, Philippines (AP) -- Chris Brown left the Philippines late Friday after being stranded for three days due to a fraud complaint against him for a canceled concert last New Year's Eve.

He still had to sit through a three-hour delay at the airport and fly to Hong Kong instead of Macau.

The plane left at 9:04 p.m. local time en route to Hong Kong, civil aviation authority spokesman Eric Apolonio said.

The 26-year-old R&B artist performed at a packed concert in Manila on Tuesday, but he required an emigration clearance to leave the country because of the fraud complaint.

Brown was able late Friday to obtain the certificate that allows him to leave the country, said Elaine Tan, spokeswoman of the Immigration Bureau.

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift Are "All Good" After Their Twitter Misunderstanding: "We Were Cracking Up Laughing"

Nicki Minaj has officially and graciously accepted Taylor Swift's apology after their Twitter misunderstanding earlier this week. "We're all good," the rapper said prior to her performance on Good Morning America Friday. In fact, Minaj added, "We spoke for a long time on the phone. We were cracking up laughing. It's over."

As Minaj has said several times now, her intention was to call attention to perceived racism regarding the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominations. Upset that her "Anaconda" and "Feelin' Myself" music videos were snubbed in major categories, she tweeted, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year." Swift, whose "Bad Blood" music video is nominated for Video of the Year, assumed it was a personal attack, telling the rapper, "I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."

Days of drama ensued (with Katy Perry and Camilla Belle taking shots at Swift), but the "Style" singer made peace with Minaj Thursday. "I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke," she tweeted. "I'm sorry, Nicki." Minaj replied, "That means so much Taylor, thank you."

In response to one of her Twitter followers later that night, the rapper said of the blond pop star, "I've always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on."

During her Good Morning America interview, the rapper said her Twitter rant was less about Swift than about how women who look like Swift dominate the media. "We just have to have both images for girls," Minaj said of promoting diversity. "We can't have one type of body being glorified in the media."

Minaj added that she would "love" to work with Swift in the future.
